LAHORE — Chief Executive Officer of Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab), Imran Amin, chaired a high-level meeting on Monday to review progress on several major development projects in Lahore and directed officials to accelerate work to ensure timely completion.
The meeting focused on ongoing work at CBD Walk, CBD Vertex and the green development area within NSIT City. Officials said the review was aimed at maintaining construction timelines while ensuring quality standards across all projects.
Senior officials from CBD Punjab, representatives of the National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK), and contracting firms attended the session. Among those present were Executive Director Technical Riaz Hussain, Director Project Management Asif Iqbal, Director Construction Asif Babar, and Director Architecture and Planning Sameer Aftab Sial.
During the meeting, project teams briefed the CEO on the final stages of finishing work at CBD Vertex, the development progress of CBD Walk, and plans for the green space being developed in NSIT City.
Imran Amin instructed project teams to maintain the pace of work while ensuring that construction quality meets international standards. He emphasized that the projects should be completed within their agreed timelines.
Development of CBD Walk and NSIT City green space
Officials said CBD Walk is expected to become a commercial destination featuring retail outlets and dining facilities. The project is part of broader efforts to expand Lahore’s commercial infrastructure and attract investment in the Central Business District.
The CEO also directed officials to develop the 55.9-acre green area within NSIT City as a modern urban park aligned with environmental sustainability standards.
According to officials, the project aims to create a public space that promotes environmentally responsible urban development while offering recreational opportunities for residents.
The meeting concluded with instructions to ensure strict quality control and continued monitoring so that all projects are completed on schedule.
