KARACHI: BYD Pakistan has launched The Great Pakistan Adventure, a four-episode digital travel series that explores Pakistan’s landscapes, communities and cultural stories through cinematic journeys across the country.

The series features the BYD Shark 6, a plug-in hybrid pickup, as it travels through mountain routes, snowy valleys, desert tracks, muddy terrain and coastal areas. The project highlights how Pakistan’s varied geography shapes local life, travel and adventure experiences.

The digital series brings together storytellers, creators and adventurers from different parts of Pakistan. Each episode is built around a distinct terrain linked to the BYD Shark 6’s driving modes, including mud, sand, snow and mountain.

According to BYD Pakistan, the Shark 6 was used across real-world routes to demonstrate its performance in challenging conditions. The vehicle is built on BYD’s DMO Super Hybrid platform and features all-wheel drive, high ground clearance, hybrid efficiency and a claimed combined range of up to 800 kilometres.

Four journeys across Pakistan

Directed by filmmaker Zohaib Kazi, The Great Pakistan Adventure follows four separate expeditions across Pakistan’s diverse regions.

Adventurer Abrar Hassan travels to Hushe Valley in search of the snow leopard, while storyteller Maryam Raja explores Sindh’s living traditions and wildlife. Content creator Bilal Hassan, known as Mystapaki, journeys through Cholistan and Bahawalpur, and Nadir Nahdi explores surf culture and coastal communities in Karachi and Balochistan.

The series focuses on local stories, natural landscapes and communities that are often less visible in mainstream travel content.

Ayesha Janjua, VP Marketing at BYD Pakistan–Mega Motor Company, said the campaign was designed to highlight Pakistan’s landscapes, people and untold stories. She said the BYD Shark 6 served as an enabler for deeper exploration across the country.

Syed Haider Mujtaba, GM Marketing at BYD Pakistan–Mega Motor Company, said the project combines cinematic storytelling with adventure while showing the vehicle’s capability across different terrains. He said the series also pays tribute to people contributing to Pakistan’s future in their own communities.

The full series is available for public viewing on BYD Pakistan’s YouTube channel.
