Islamabad, April 1, 2026 — BYD has launched a limited-time offer in Pakistan, providing a free 7kW home charger with every electric vehicle purchase as it looks to accelerate adoption in the local market.
The offer applies to all BYD models available in the country, though customers will bear installation costs and applicable taxes. The initiative comes as charging convenience remains a key factor influencing EV buying decisions in Pakistan.
BYD said the 7kW charger can significantly cut charging times compared to standard units. For example, the BYD Atto 3 can be fully charged in around six to eight hours using the higher-capacity charger, compared to nearly a full day with a basic 2kW system.
Focus on charging convenience
The company’s move highlights a broader push to address one of the main barriers to EV adoption — access to reliable and faster home charging solutions.
By offering the charger as part of the purchase, BYD aims to make ownership more practical for new buyers transitioning from conventional vehicles.

BYD has not disclosed the exact duration of the promotion, describing it as a time-bound offer. The company has advised customers to confirm installation requirements and additional charges through official channels before finalising their purchase.
