Veteran Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari has expressed strong displeasure over the alleged behaviour of her daughter Nariman Ansari’s former in-laws, sharing painful details about the treatment her daughter and grandchildren reportedly received after the separation.
In a recent vlog, Bushra said her daughter had always taken care of her in-laws, but they did not even enquire about Nariman or her children after the separation.
According to the actress, Nariman looked after her former mother-in-law and sisters-in-law, invited them to Canada and treated them with respect. However, Bushra said her daughter did not receive the same love and compassion in return.
Questioning their attitude, Bushra asked how grandparents could become so indifferent towards their own grandchildren simply by following their son’s wishes.
She stressed that disagreements between a husband and wife were a separate matter and that elders should have shown greater understanding and generosity towards the children.
Bushra also spoke about the challenges her daughter is facing as a single mother. She claimed that Nariman had effectively been managing on her own even during the marriage, alleging that her former husband did not contribute to household expenses.
The actress further claimed that she had arranged a home for both her daughter and son-in-law, adding that her former son-in-law had taken full advantage of the arrangement.
Her comments have brought renewed attention to the family situation, particularly the difficulties faced by Nariman and her children following the separation.
