A video of a bride and groom making a wedding entrance inspired by the “machine gun” style from Ranbir Kapoor’s movie Animal has gone viral on social media.
The video, shared by Instagram user Ashish Saiwal, has garnered over 15 million views so far.
The couple’s entry at the wedding hall was modeled after a scene from Animal where Ranbir Kapoor uses a 500-kilogram machine gun to fight off enemies. Similarly, the couple decided to enter their wedding venue seated on a machine gun, mimicking the movie.
However, instead of impressing social media users, their act drew criticism and outrage. One user commented, “Why are you emulating a character who killed people for revenge?” while another remarked, “They’re preparing for the next battle in their life.”
