Oct 13: Global oil prices edged lower on Tuesday after gaining nearly $2 in the previous trading session, as investors weighed concerns over potential supply disruptions in Saudi Arabia against expectations of higher Russian diesel exports.

Brent crude fell 61 cents, or 0.57%, to $106.04 per barrel.

US West Texas Intermediate crude declined 47 cents, or 0.5%, to $93.27 per barrel.

Oil markets remained focused on the risk of supply disruptions following attacks in Saudi Arabia, while expectations of increased Russian diesel exports also influenced trading sentiment.

Brent had settled at $106.65 per barrel on Monday, its highest closing level since September 15.

The latest pullback followed the previous session’s sharp gains, as traders reassessed supply risks and broader developments affecting global energy markets.
