ISLAMABAD — Capital Hospital Islamabad held a breast cancer awareness symposium on Wednesday to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The event followed the directives of CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa and was supervised by Dr. Naeem Taj, Executive Director of Capital Hospital and Head of Surgery.
The symposium took place in the hospital’s auditorium. It aimed to spread awareness about early detection, prevention, and modern treatment options for breast cancer. Moreover, Dr. Yasmeen Iqbal, General and Breast Cancer Surgeon, coordinated the medical aspects of the program.

They emphasized the importance of timely screening and discussed modern treatment techniques in detail.
While addressing the audience, Dr. Naeem Taj said breast cancer is curable when detected early. Therefore, he urged women to schedule regular checkups and stay alert to early warning signs.
