LAHORE, August 11, 2026: UAE fintech platform Botim has partnered with Mastercard to launch Mastercard One Credential, an all-in-one card solution designed to let eligible users manage prepaid balances, credit, multi-currency spending and installment payments through a single card.
The rollout marks the first launch of Mastercard One Credential in the UAE and across Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EEMEA), according to the companies.
The new solution links one payment product to multiple funding sources through a digital interface, allowing eligible Botim cardholders to switch between prepaid balances and credit funding without needing separate cards.
One Card, Multiple Payment Options
Mastercard One Credential is designed to give users greater control over how they pay by combining multiple payment methods within one card experience.
Botim said eligible cardholders will be able to access funds in multiple currencies and convert purchases into installment plans, providing more flexibility for everyday spending and larger transactions.
The proposition may also make credit access simpler for first-time users by integrating credit functionality into an existing card rather than requiring a separate product.
UAE Consumers Show Strong Interest in Card Installments
The companies said the launch responds to growing consumer demand for flexible payment options.
According to Mastercard consumer research cited in the announcement, 83% of surveyed consumers in the UAE said they would use card installments through One Credential.
The research also pointed to demand for payment tools that combine multiple funding options while giving customers greater convenience and visibility over spending.
Botim, Mastercard Eye Wider Payments Expansion
Dr Tariq BinHendi, board member at Astra Tech and CEO of Botim, said the partnership is focused on giving consumers greater choice, transparency and confidence in digital payments.
He said the new capability is intended to make everyday payments more practical while supporting broader financial participation over time.
Gina Petersen-Skyrme, Mastercard’s senior vice president and country manager for the UAE and Oman, said consumers increasingly expect payment services to be secure, simple and integrated into their everyday digital experiences.
She said combining One Credential with Botim’s platform would allow users to manage different payment methods through a single scalable solution.
More Botim Card Products Planned
The prepaid and installment offering is the first stage of a broader collaboration between Botim and Mastercard.
The companies said the partnership is expected to support future Botim card propositions and additional payment use cases aimed at expanding the ways customers can make and manage payments.
