MUMBAI: Indian actress Divya Vainekar, known for playing a police constable in the Bollywood film Darlings, has died unexpectedly at the age of 40.
The cause of her death has not been publicly disclosed.
The news was shared on October 20 by her close friend and radio jockey Rohini Ramanathan, who expressed shock and grief over the actress’s sudden passing in a social media post.
Ramanathan said Vainekar’s death was unexpected and asked people to respect the privacy of her family and close friends during the difficult time. She also urged people to refrain from asking the family questions about the circumstances of her death for now.
