Board Cricket Academy Wins Cricket Academy League T20 Tournament in Mardan

MARDAN: The Cricket Academy League T20 tournament has concluded in which five teams participated. After winning 10 consecutive matches, Board Cricket Academy won the final trophy by defeating Nice Cricket Academy in the final match as well. In which the Chief Guest was  Provincial General Secretary of the Central Organization of Tajrans and Group Leader Mardan Chamber of Commerce and Industry  Zahir Shah along with All Cricket Association Chairman Haji Abdul Aziz Khan, Central Organization of Tajrans Senior Vice President Haji Awais Khan, Arif Mardanvi, Haji Muhammad Ishaq President District Cricket Association.

Jamal Khan, Sajjad Hoti, Ghulam Sarwar Saraf, Shahid Khan, Timur Khan, Javed Ali, Pir Khalid Khan, Shahab ud din Umar Khel and others were also present. Batting first, Board Cricket Academy set a target of 209 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. On behalf of Board Cricket Academy, Hamza Jamshed scored 61 runs on 38 balls, Hussain Kausar 47, Mohammad Shahzad 35. Junaid Khan scored 17 runs. Junaid of Nice Cricket Academy got 3 wickets and Nasir got 2 wickets. In response, Nice Cricket Academy scored 153 runs in the allotted 20 overs.

Likewise, in the final match, Board Cricket Academy won the title by winning by 56 runs, in which Jawad scored 53 runs and Sohail scored 27 runs. Shehzad took 3 wickets and Zakaria took 2 wickets from Board Academy. Speaking at the event, Zahir Shah, Provincial General Secretary of the Central Organization of Trade Unions, said that Haji Abdul Aziz Khan has built grounds for sportsmen with his own resources, and at the same time, he is important in attracting the youth towards sports to bring new talent to the fore. He has played a role that deserves praise.

Zahir Shah further said that the playground of those nations are inhabited the hospitals would be deserted. Congratulating the winner and runner-up teams, he said that winning and losing is a part of the game tolerating each other is the need of the hour. Players are the country’s valuable capital and pride. The youth will make the country and the nation bright through education and sports. Pakistan is our country and we will not hesitate to make any sacrifice for its stability. At the end of the ceremony, Zahir Shah and Abdul Aziz Khan distributed prizes and trophies among the players for the best performance.
