ISLAMABAD: The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has issued important instructions for eligible women regarding the provision of free Benazir SIM cards.
According to the information released by BISP Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid, beneficiaries seeking a free Benazir SIM must visit their nearest BISP office.
Eligible women have been instructed to bring their original Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) and their personal mobile phone when visiting the designated BISP office.
BISP authorities have also issued a warning to beneficiaries not to obtain or activate the SIM from any franchise, retailer, agent or other unauthorised person.
The programme clarified that the entire process for obtaining and activating the Benazir SIM will be carried out only through official BISP offices.
Beneficiaries have been advised to follow the official procedure and avoid dealing with unauthorised individuals in connection with the free SIM.
