Islamabad – Telenor Pakistan has once again proven its leadership in workplace excellence, taking home three top honors at the Best Place to Work 2025 Awards Gala, hosted by Engage Consulting and the Pakistan Society of Human Resource Management (PSHRM).
The telecom company was named Best in Industry in the Telecom Sector, won the Best Place to Work Award in the large company category, and clinched the prestigious Best of the Best Company 2025 title—an achievement that reflects its deep commitment to employee well-being, inclusion, and sustainability.
This year’s awards saw record participation, with over 260 nominations and 155 companies competing from across Pakistan—the highest since the initiative began in 2008. The Best Place to Work 2025 platform celebrates organizations that are redefining employee engagement and leading with purpose.
Telenor Pakistan’s workplace culture stands out for its flexible work policies, inclusive practices, and targeted programs for women and persons with disabilities. The company’s efforts to build a people-first environment have consistently earned it recognition as an employer of choice.
Beyond HR, Telenor Pakistan is also making strides in sustainability. By 2024, it reduced emissions by 23% through renewable energy investments and its AI-powered energy analytics platform, Thunder. The platform has saved over 12 GWh of energy and cut carbon emissions by 70 kilotons.
“These awards reaffirm our belief that a people-first culture drives innovation, growth, and sustainable success,” said Areej Khan, Chief People Officer at Telenor Pakistan. “We’re proud to foster an environment where every individual is empowered to learn, lead, and make a meaningful impact.”
Telenor Pakistan previously won the Best Place to Work in Telecom award in 2019, marking its fourth consecutive win at the time. The 2025 recognition further solidifies its position as a trailblazer in corporate excellence.
