Islamabad: The 17th death anniversary of Pakistan’s former Prime Minister and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairperson, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, will be observed across the country tomorrow with profound respect and admiration. Party workers, leaders, and the public will pay tribute to the legacy of Shaheed Bibi.
Benazir Bhutto, who was martyred on December 27, 2007, in a terrorist attack at Rawalpindi’s Liaquat Bagh, holds a unique place in Pakistan’s political history. She was not only the first female Prime Minister of Pakistan but also the first woman leader of a Muslim-majority state in the world.
Tomorrow, PPP will organize various events and seminars nationwide.
