Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce(BCCI) and Industry and Islamia University Bahawalpur have agreed to collaborate in strengthening the connection between academia and industry, aiming to boost development, research and employment opportunities in the area.
Vice Chancellor of Islamia University Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran visited the Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Addressing to the members of the Chamber, Vice Chancellor said that our students are playing an important role in technical training, internships, research and business projects aligned to industry needs. He said that if any technical challenges arise within their industry, they can utilize the expertise of skilled from Islamia University.
President of the Chamber Syed Zafar Sharif said that strong partnerships between academia and industry can drive regional growth and job creation. He praised the university’s positive contributions and noted that initiatives like joint working groups, training programs, and business incubation efforts between the two entities will benefit both sectors. Bahawalpur chamber and Islamia Univeristy Bahawalpur also agreed to develop a joint action plan and sign a Memorandum of Understanding in the future.
