Provincial Information Advisor Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has said that advocacy is not only a respected and sacred profession, but it also serves as the backbone for the provision of justice and the rule of law in society. If young lawyers make the spirit of service and professional integrity their motto, success will follow their footsteps. He expressed these views addressing the oath-taking ceremony of newly elected office bearers of the District Bar Association Mardan as the special guest. He took oath from DBA office bearers president Asif Iqbal advocate, vice president Wahab Ali advocate, General Secretary Zulfiqar Ali advocate, joint secretary Tamur Khan and Finance Mir Afzal Khan advocate. Representatives of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council, the legal community, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Technical Education Tufail Anjum, and a large number of senior and junior lawyers participated in the ceremony.

The newly elected President of the Bar, Asif Iqbal Advocate, General Secretary, Zulfiqar Ali Advocate, and City Mayor Mardan Himayatullah Mayar also addressed the ceremony. He said that consultations with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur and the provincial law minister on the issues of Mardan Bar have been completed. He said that progress is expected soon on other demands including construction of Mardan Judicial Complex, sheds for junior lawyers, solarization of bar rooms and financial grants. Barrister Saif reiterated the commitment that providing a conducive and facilitating environment for lawyers is among the priorities of the government. Later on talking to the media Barrister Saif said that he met the founder of PTI because he himself is eager to meet him. Many people went to meet me, but the founder of PTI refused. Barrister Saif said that PTI Provincial President Junaid Akbar is probably worried because he is not able to fulfill the responsibility entrusted to him by the founder of PTI and now he is blaming others for his failure.

He is advised by his brothers that crying and making accusations will not achieve anything. He added that if he cannot do anything for the party, then he should sit at home and give a chance to a qualified person. He said that if Amir Muqam thinks that the provincial government will end and his brother will become the Chief Minister, then this will remain his dream. He argued that the PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is established and strong. The Information Advisor clarified that the provincial government is not facing any problem regarding the budget. The budget has been formally approved by the provincial assembly. Talking about the specific seats from PTI is a regrettable act. Maulana Fazlur Rehman should be happy with this decision because all this is the result of supporting the 26th Constitutional Amendment. He said that while talking about the operation against encroachments on the banks of the Swat River, he said that illegal encroachments, no matter who they belong to, will be demolished. The operation is ongoing without discrimination.
