RAWALPINDI, November 3, 2026: Security forces killed 17 terrorists in two intelligence-based operations in Balochistan’s Kachhi and Kharan districts, while a Pakistan Army soldier was martyred during an exchange of fire, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday.
According to the military’s media wing, the operations were conducted on November 1 following intelligence reports about the presence of terrorists associated with groups the military identifies as Fitna Al Hindustan and Fitna Al Khawarij.
In the first operation, security forces targeted terrorists in the Sanni area of Kachhi district, where an attempt to establish a roadblock was foiled.
ISPR said 10 terrorists were killed during the operation, while weapons and ammunition were recovered from the site.
A separate intelligence-based operation was conducted in Kharan district, where security forces targeted a terrorist hideout.
Following an intense exchange of fire, seven terrorists were killed, and weapons and ammunition were recovered, according to ISPR.
During the operation in Kharan, Sepoy Hikmat Ullah, 25, a resident of Karak district, was martyred while fighting the terrorists.

The military identified the slain militants as Indian-sponsored terrorists, an allegation attributed to ISPR.
Security forces have launched sanitisation operations in both areas to locate and eliminate any remaining terrorists.
ISPR reiterated that counterterrorism operations under the Azm-e-Istehkam initiative, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, would continue against terrorist groups operating in the country.
The military said security forces and law enforcement agencies remained committed to eliminating terrorism and maintaining security across Pakistan.
