Shaheed Malik Israr Group Secures President, Vice President Seats in Attock District Bar Elections

ATTOCK : The annual elections of the District Bar Association Attock for the year 2026–27 concluded after a closely contested race, with the Shaheed Malik Israr Advocate Group securing the key offices of President and Vice President, according to official results announced by the Election Commission.

For the post of President, Rabnawaz Hayat Bilal Advocate of the Shaheed Malik Israr Group emerged victorious after securing 238 votes. His rivals, Saqib Shahzaib Advocate and Asif Mahmood Bhatti Advocate, received 167 and 72 votes respectively.

Similarly, Malik Shoaib Iqbal Advocate, also representing the Shaheed Malik Israr Group, won the Vice President seat with a decisive margin by securing 299 votes, while his opponent Ahmad Raza Khan Advocate obtained 175 votes.

In other contests, Muhammad Arif Khattak Advocate was elected General Secretary after securing 252 votes, narrowly defeating Fahim Ijaz Malik Advocate, who secured 222 votes. Sheikh Muhammad Tayyab Advocate won the Joint Secretary position with 278 votes, while Syed Sarmad Shafiq Shah Advocate received 190 votes.

The Election Commission confirmed that a total of 32 votes were declared invalid during the polling process.

Following the announcement of results, celebrations erupted among supporters of the Shaheed Malik Israr Advocate Group. The newly elected President and Vice President were congratulated by members of the legal fraternity, while supporters marked the victory by distributing sweets and beating drums.
