COAS Asim Munir Meets Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in Cairo

Rawalpindi:Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, held a meeting with Egyptian President His Excellency Abdel Fattah el-Sisi at the Itihadia Presidential Palace in Cairo, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Friday.

During the meeting, both leaders discussed matters of mutual interest, focusing on strengthening bilateral cooperation and reaffirming the long-standing friendship between Pakistan and Egypt.

COAS Asim Munir lauded the Egyptian leadership’s pivotal role in maintaining regional peace and stability. President el-Sisi, in turn, appreciated Pakistan’s proactive contributions to regional and global issues, particularly those concerning the Muslim Ummah.
