ISLAMABAD: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said that “selective sense of justice” doesn’t healthy the stature of senior Supreme Court judge Mansoor Ali Shah. Taking to X, previously Twitter, the senior PML-N chief reacted to the letter written by means of Justice Mansoor Ali Shah to Chief Justice of Pakistan. Justice Mansoor Ali Shah had penned a letter to Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi, urging the postponement of the Judicial Commission’s December 6 assembly, bringing up concerns over its constitutional validity. “Respected Mansoor Ali Shah stated that the general public agree with on judiciary might be eroded if there’s no implementation on his letter,” stated Khawaja Asif. In his letter to CJP, Justice Shah had highlighted the pending petitions tough the twenty sixth Constitutional Amendment, which reconstituted the Judicial Commission. Justice Shah counseled that if the change is invalidated, it might undermine the decisions made with the aid of the reconstituted Judicial Commission, leading to ability embarrassment for the judiciary and its individuals.
