ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday welcomed the opening of international logistics company Menzies Aviation in Pakistan, hoping it will help usher in new technologies, attract international investors and create jobs for the country’s youth. The Prime Minister unveiled a commemorative plaque while inaugurating the establishment of the first Menzies Aviation office in Pakistan. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif welcomed the setting up of IT infrastructure and facilitation desks by companies in Pakistan. Launching the services of an internationally recognized company like Menzies Aviation in Pakistan is a testament to the unlimited business potential for international investors in our stable economy,” said the Prime Minister. He added that the arrival of the mentioned airline in Pakistan was a very important milestone for the country’s economy, especially for the IT sector. The development of the country’s economy was linked to the development of the IT sector, Prime Minister Shehbaz said. As a result of recent investor-friendly policies, he said the country’s IT exports have been steadily growing, adding, “The gradual increase in IT exports is favorable as the recent economic development and the arrival of Menzies Aviation in Pakistan would attract more international companies. . invest in the country.” Positive economic indicators indicated that economic policy has recently been helping the business environment in the country, the Prime Minister emphasized. He said the government was fully committed to the development of the country after achieving economic stability. Federal Ministers Attaullah Tarar and Shaza Fatima Khawaja were present in the meeting.
