RAWALPINDI — Vice Chancellor of Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi, Prof. Dr. Qamar-uz-Zaman, on Monday congratulated two senior officials on performing Umrah, marking the occasion with a formal acknowledgment at the university.
According to the university, Director IT Services and Principal Officer Public Relations & Publications Dr. Nadeem Ahmed Malik, and Director Planning & Institutional Coordination (P&IC) Dr. Waris Ali were presented with bouquets in recognition of their spiritual journey.
Dr. Qamar-uz-Zaman said performing Umrah is a significant spiritual experience that fosters personal growth and encourages values such as patience, tolerance and service to others. He expressed hope that both officials would continue to carry out their professional responsibilities with renewed commitment following the pilgrimage.
A collective prayer was also offered during the gathering for peace and stability in the country, as well as continued progress and development of the university.
