Areeb Pervaiz, husband of popular YouTuber Iqra Kanwal, has responded to social media criticism suggesting that he relies financially on his wife.
During a recent podcast, Pervaiz was asked whether having a wife with a higher income could create a sense of insecurity in a husband. In response, he questioned how people could know which of the two earns more.
“How do people know who earns more between us? They may not even have an idea about my income,” Pervaiz said.
He added that people often make such comments without knowing the couple’s financial circumstances, while noting that he has never publicly disclosed his income.

According to Pervaiz, he is involved in several businesses, including the restaurant “Four.” He said the restaurant has four partners who invested equal amounts of capital.
Pervaiz also stressed that he and Iqra Kanwal work together and have built their success through their own efforts.
