Former Cricketer Aqib Javed’s Daughter Gets Married in UK, Wedding Photos Go Viral

Former Pakistan cricketer and national team head coach Aqib Javed’s daughter, Aqbah Aqib, has married a foreign national in the United Kingdom, with wedding photographs shared online by her mother, poet and writer Farzana Aqib.

Aqbah Aqib has begun a new chapter of her life after getting married in the UK on August 9.

Her mother, Farzana Aqib, shared photographs from the wedding on Facebook. In the pictures, Aqbah can be seen wearing an elegant white bridal outfit, while her husband is dressed in a formal suit.

The photographs also show tattoos on both the bride and groom, reflecting their individual style.

Sharing the pictures, Farzana said the wedding took place on August 9 and extended prayers and best wishes for a happy, successful and peaceful life for her daughter, son-in-law and both families.

Aqbah’s Educational Background

Aqbah also has an academic background in media and journalism. She completed her graduation in Media and International Journalism from the University of Sussex in the UK around three to four years ago.

Her mother, Farzana Aqib, is known for her literary work, particularly English poetry. She has a substantial social media following and has said that she has authored more than 70 books of English poetry and received several international literary awards.

Farzana has also written a book presenting aspects of Islamic history through poetry.

Aqib Javed’s Cricket Career

Aqib Javed is a former Pakistan Test and ODI cricketer and currently serves as the head coach of Pakistan’s national cricket team across all formats. He is also a member of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s Men’s National Selection Committee.

Following the release of Aqbah’s wedding photographs, people from cricket and literary circles have extended congratulations and good wishes to Aqib Javed, Farzana Aqib and both families on the occasion.
