Aqib Javed is likely to be appointed as the head coach of the Pakistan cricket team. Sources indicate that Aqib Javed will take on his responsibilities during the Zimbabwe tour. Following Gary Kirsten’s resignation, Aqib Javed will assume the role of head coach. The Pakistan-Zimbabwe series is set to begin on November 24.

It is worth mentioning that former Test cricketer Mohammad Yousuf parted ways with the Pakistan Cricket Board yesterday, deciding to leave his coaching role at the National Cricket Academy. Mohammad Yousuf had been serving as the batting coach at the National Cricket Academy and was also the coach of the Pakistan Under-19 team. After Mohammad Yousuf’s departure, Ghulam Ali has been appointed as the coach of Pakistan Under-19.
