Bollywood actor Salman Khan has once again received death and extortion threats from the notorious Bishnoi gang.
According to Indian media reports, the Mumbai Traffic Police Control Room received a threatening message from the brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, stating, “I am Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother. If Salman Khan wants to stay alive, he must go to the Bishnoi community’s temple and apologize or pay 50 million rupees. Otherwise, if he does not comply, we will kill him. Our gang is still active.”
The Mumbai Traffic Police received this message again last night via WhatsApp. Previously, a similar threatening message had been received, but the police claimed that they had arrested the suspect.
The police are currently investigating this message and trying to identify the person behind it. According to a post on X (formerly Twitter), ANI revealed that a case is being registered against this threat. The tweet stated that “a case is being registered at the Worli police station regarding the threat to actor Salman Khan, and efforts are underway to trace the number from which the message was sent.”
It is worth noting that last month, the Bollywood superstar was threatened with death unless he paid 20 million rupees, prompting the police to initiate an investigation, resulting in the arrest of a resident from the Bandra area of Mumbai on October 30.
