In a major development under the directives of Federal Minister for Railways, Mr. Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, Pakistan Railways has successfully carried out an anti-encroachment operation near Gujar Khan and Khushab railway stations.
The operation led to the complete demolition of illegal commercial structures built on railway land. This decisive action was supervised by the Property and Land Branch of Pakistan Railways and aimed at reclaiming encroached public assets.
Officials confirmed that the land has now been secured, reinforcing the government’s commitment to protecting national infrastructure. The operation is part of an ongoing campaign in the Rawalpindi Division to eliminate unlawful occupations of railway property.
The Ministry of Railways reiterated its zero-tolerance policy against illegal encroachments and emphasized the importance of safeguarding public property in the interest of national development.
