KARACHI: Emerging Pakistani actress Anam Hussain has revealed that she had hoped to work with Sajal Aly again after their first project together, and her wish eventually came true.
In a recent interview, Anam recalled that her first acting project was “Manto Nahin Hoon”, in which she had a small role alongside Sajal Aly. She said she enjoyed working with Sajal so much that she prayed for another opportunity to share the screen with her.
‘My Prayer Was Answered’
Anam said she prayed at the end of the project that she would get another chance to work with Sajal. She described the opportunity to work together again as a moment when her prayer was answered.
The actress also recalled advice Sajal gave her about working on a set. According to Anam, Sajal told her that there was no distinction between senior and junior actors during filming and that everyone was equal on set.
Anam Praises Sajal’s Professionalism
Anam also praised Sajal’s professionalism and described one of the habits she particularly appreciated.
She said that actors who are not required in a particular frame often leave the set once their own shot is completed. However, according to Anam, Sajal would remain present and repeat her lines so that the actor whose shot was being filmed could deliver their lines properly and perform more effectively.
Anam said she valued this supportive approach and considered it one of Sajal’s positive qualities as a fellow performer.
