An important meeting was held at the CDA Headquarters under the chairmanship of Muhammad Ali Randhawa, Chairman CDA, Chief Commissioner Islamabad, and Director General Civil Defence. The meeting was attended by CDA Member Administration, Member Estate, Member Engineering, Member Finance, Member Environment, DG Works, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Deputy Commissioner CDA and other senior officers of CDA.
The meeting reviewed latest progress on sector development projects. Chairman CDA directed that development work must not only be expedited but also maintain high quality and standards of work. He emphasized establishing on-site office of DC CDA and relevant officers/official in sectors undergoing development to resolve public issues at their doorstep. All grievances at these field offices must be addressed with full transparency and in strict compliance with legal requirements.
Chairman CDA ordered immediate removal of illegal encroachments in Sectors H-16, C-15, C-16, E-12, and F-13. For legal claims regarding land and built-up properties, citizens must submit their documentation on-site to the Deputy Commissioner CDA or designated staff while Islamabad Administration officials will also be present to facilitate this process. All claims will be evaluated and decided as per legal provisions.
While ensuring citizens’ lawful rights in affected sectors, CDA has also planned systematic development initiatives. Chairman CDA instructed expediting development work in Park Enclave and other sectors as well, noting that alongside infrastructure improvements, indiscriminate action is being taken against illegal encroachments across Islamabad.
All obstacles hindering development in all sectors must be cleared on priority basis, whereas the Finance Wing will ensure timely release of funds for ongoing projects.
Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa affirmed that CDA is deploying all resources to develop Islamabad into a prosperous, beautiful, and exemplary Pakistani city as well as rapid development across various sectors will continue to address public housing needs.
