Amir Muqam reviews progress on support programme for vulnerable groups

Islamabad, April 1, 2026 — Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON Amir Muqam chaired a meeting to review progress on a support programme aimed at assisting vulnerable groups and host communities.

During the meeting, Secretary SAFRON Zafar Hasan briefed the minister on ongoing initiatives and implementation efforts under the programme. Officials discussed measures to improve delivery and expand outreach to beneficiaries.

The minister expressed satisfaction over the progress made so far and directed authorities to expedite the process to ensure timely benefits for the public.

Senior officials, including Additional Secretary Kamran Ur Rehman Khan and Chief Commissioner CCAR Asmatullah Shah, also attended the meeting.

The programme is aimed at providing support mechanisms for vulnerable populations while strengthening assistance for host communities through coordinated policy implementation.
