During the Ameer Muqam Tirah visit, the federal minister emphasized that mere words of sorrow were not enough in the face of terrorism. He called for effective and practical measures to counter extremist violence, urging national unity and decisive action. “As a nation and as a state, we must take effective practical measures to counter terrorism,” he stated.

He further highlighted the importance of collaboration between citizens and security forces, describing it as essential for restoring peace and stability. He reiterated that establishing peace remained the government’s top priority and must be pursued with unwavering resolve.

Sharing his personal experiences, Ameer Muqam revealed that he had survived seven terrorist attacks, including suicide bombings. “I have personally carried the coffins of close relatives and colleagues,” he remarked, underscoring the emotional toll of terrorism and the urgency for meaningful action.
