Islamabad: Ambassador Albert P. Khorev delivered a lecture to students at the Pakistan Foreign Service Academy on December 23, focusing on the trajectory of Russia-Pakistan relations and current international developments.

Ambassador Albert P. Khorev discusses Russia-Pakistan relations

During the lecture, Ambassador Khorev outlined key milestones in diplomatic engagement between Russia and Pakistan. He referred to developments in political and economic cooperation, describing areas where bilateral dialogue has expanded in recent years.

Briefing on Ukraine and regional developments

The ambassador also spoke about the situation in and around Ukraine, presenting Russia’s perspective on the origins of the conflict. He discussed broader regional dynamics and the role of external actors in Eurasian affairs.

Engagement with academy leadership

Following the lecture, Ambassador Khorev participated in a tree-planting ceremony at the academy alongside Director General Syed Ali Asad Gillani. The event took place within the academy’s premises and concluded the ambassador’s visit.
