Alpurai Assistant Commissioner Conducts Surprise School Inspections

SHANGLA: Assistant Commissioner Headquarters Alpurai, Abdul Qayyum, conducted surprise inspections of various government schools in Tehsil Alpurai and reviewed teaching and administrative affairs, staff attendance, students’ academic activities, cleanliness and basic facilities.

During the visits, Abdul Qayyum inspected classrooms and interacted with students to gather information about their academic activities, teaching methods and the facilities available at their schools.

He also examined the attendance records of teachers and other staff members and reviewed the quality of education and routine teaching activities being carried out at the institutions.

The Assistant Commissioner inspected the cleanliness of classrooms and school premises, along with drinking water facilities, washrooms and other essential amenities. He directed school administrations to take all possible measures to ensure students are provided with a clean, safe and conducive learning environment.

Abdul Qayyum made it clear that there would be no compromise on teachers’ regular and punctual attendance, improvement in teaching standards, students’ academic performance and discipline in government educational institutions.

“School administrations should ensure teachers’ attendance while giving special attention to providing quality education to students,” he said.

He said education was a fundamental requirement for the progress and prosperity of any society, adding that providing quality teaching and adequate facilities to children enrolled in government schools was a state responsibility.

The Assistant Commissioner said the district administration would continue monitoring the performance of educational institutions and the availability and condition of basic facilities.

He directed school administrations to take practical steps to establish permanent cleanliness arrangements, improve student attendance, ensure teachers’ punctuality and make classroom teaching more effective.

School administrations also briefed the Assistant Commissioner on ongoing academic activities and administrative matters at their respective institutions.

Abdul Qayyum expressed his resolve that, in collaboration with relevant departments, efforts would continue to improve the educational environment in government schools across Tehsil Alpurai, ensure the provision of basic facilities and raise teaching standards.
