Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, paid an official visit to Romania, where he met with Lieutenant General Leonard-Gabriel Baraboi, Chief of the Romanian Air Force Staff. The visit aimed to strengthen defence ties and explore new areas of cooperation between the two Air Forces.
Upon his arrival at the Romanian Air Force Headquarters, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu was presented with a Guard of Honour by a contingent of the Romanian Air Force.
During the meeting, both Air Chiefs discussed ways to enhance operational collaboration through joint air exercises, training exchange programmes, and cooperation in air and ground crew development. They also shared views on regional and global security challenges and reaffirmed their commitment to promoting peace and stability through closer military partnership.
Lieutenant General Baraboi praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Air Force, particularly its operational achievements and progress in indigenous development under the leadership of Air Chief Marshal Sidhu.
