Researchers have claimed to have developed an AI audio generator capable of creating sounds that have never been heard before.
The new generative artificial intelligence model, named Fugato, was created by a team from the computer chip manufacturing company, Nvidia.
This tool allows users to edit or generate audio using simple text prompts, such as removing a specific instrument from a song or altering someone’s voice.
In a detailed blog, Nvidia’s Richard Keres claimed that Fugato offers more convenience than any other AI model and has the potential to transform the music world with brand new sounds.
Richard Keres further wrote that with Fugato, sounds such as a trumpet barking or a saxophone meowing can be generated. Whatever users write, the model can create.
