After Abbottabad Swat tragedy, conducted operation against 32 Kunal Arrazi of Harno River Race. The operation remains. Citizens demand an inquiry against the officers who gave permission to the water crossings. TMA, Irrigation Department, Goliat Development Authority conducted a joint operation in which the encroachments were demolished in the phase.The administration also maintained peace and order during the operation. An operation was launched from Azizabad on the first day of the Abbottabad river race which was prevented due to illegal immigration after the court order was issued. After the protective order was issued, they conducted an operation with heavy machinery against the encroachment again on Thursday.232 Kunal reluctantly ended the encroachment.
Operations on 80 kunal Zahid Araj remain to be conducted due to obtaining order. Other concerned departments including TMA are not allowed to work on 40 Zahid Kunal Araj in Harno River race. After the encroachment, hotels, swimming pools, other tourist attractions including Kishi Rani were built and crores of rupees were invested against which the locals protested. Citizens of Abbottabad protest against protection of precious human lives The citizens also paid tribute to the Deputy Commissioner and DPO for conducting a strict operation.
