ISLAMABAD — Adnan Arif has been appointed to the Central Standing Committee on Media Broadcasting for 2026 by the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry, according to an official notification issued on May 4.
The appointment places him in a national-level role focused on media policy, industry coordination, and public engagement, as Pakistan expands dialogue between business and the media sector.
The notification was presented by Atif Ikram Sheikh, formally confirming his inclusion in the committee for the upcoming term.
Adnan Arif, Editor-in-Chief of The Public Purview, is expected to contribute to discussions on media development, broadcasting challenges, and stakeholder engagement. The FPCCI committee serves as a platform for coordination between industry leaders and media professionals.
The committee’s mandate includes supporting policy discussions, strengthening industry collaboration, and addressing structural issues within Pakistan’s media and broadcasting landscape.
