An insightful, students engaging program under the theme “Academia- Industry Linkage Program” held today on Wednesday, 30th Oct. 2024 at Sindh University Campus Dadu. The PARCO CSR team including Ms. Naureen Ladhani, Senior Management Executive Corporate Affairs, CSR and Mr. Ghulam Mujtaba, Management Executive CSR visited campus and interacted with students regarding studies and future opportunities. Later on, a formal program began at Computer lab. Ms. Amber Panhwar, Teaching Assistant in Dept. of English moderated the program. After the recitation of Holy Quran, the traditional gifts of Ajrak were decorated to the guests by Worthy PVC. Afterwards, Dr. Sarfraz Ali, Malak gave extensive presentation on campus profile, functioning and practices. Dr. Malak also explained the opportunities for mutual benefits and scholarships for students, internship opportunities and support for campus infrastructure development. Mr. Ghulam Mujtaba who is also Almunus of this campus encouraged students for pursuing higher education and assured for getting approval of scholarships for campus students. Ms. Naureen Ladhani motivated girl students for starting their own businesses and also made a commitment for convincing top Management for provision of scholarships for the students. Students asked questions from PARCO representatives pertaining to future opportunities. Finally, Prof. Dr. Nek Muhammad Sheikh sb, Focal Person, conveyed thanks to the PARCO CSR team for paying visit to the campus and providing valuable insights to the students about PARCO. Dr. Nek sb also emphasized the PARCO Management for providing the scholarships to poor students as they face problems in paying annual fees. The program was attended by all HoDs, including Engr. Dr. Muhammad Suleman Memon, Dr. Muhammad Asif Channa, Ms. Nargis Khoso, faculty comprising Sir Athar Shar, Sir Abdul Jabbar Mallah, TAs; Ms. Saira Solangi, Ms. Amber Panhwar, Ms. Sahar Fatima Saba Junejo, Mr. Muhammad Usman Birhmani, Visiting faculty including Mr. GM Bhan, Ms. Muqadas Charan. From staff Mr. Waheed Siyal (Students welfare officer), Abdul Qadir Panhwar (Librarian) and other staff were present in the event.
