Amid ongoing rumors of a rift between Bollywood couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek’s recent remarks about Aishwarya left fans stunned.
Currently, Abhishek’s latest film “I Want to Talk” is receiving widespread praise. The movie revolves around the complex relationship between a terminally ill father and his daughter.
During a promotional interview, Abhishek expressed gratitude to Aishwarya for her unwavering support in raising their daughter, Aaradhya. He also appreciated his parents for managing to give him quality time despite their hectic schedules.
In a conversation with Indian media, Abhishek said, “I never felt lonely during my childhood. When I was born, my mother stepped back from her career in showbiz to focus on parenting. On the other hand, we never felt our father’s absence either.”
Speaking about Aishwarya and Aaradhya, he shared, “In my home, I am fortunate to be able to pursue my career in films, knowing that Aishwarya is there for Aaradhya. For that, I am deeply thankful to her.”
Reflecting on parenthood, he added, “As parents, our children inspire us. Parents will climb mountains on one leg for their kids. I have immense respect for mothers because they do so much for their children, things no one else can do. Fathers, on the other hand, silently do everything for their children without expressing it. That’s where men often fall short. But as children grow older, they realize how strong their fathers were for them, always in the background, yet ever-present.”
It’s worth noting that Abhishek and Aishwarya married in 2007, but rumors of a split have been circulating recently.
Recently, Aishwarya shared photos of Aaradhya’s 13th birthday celebration on Instagram, but fans were quick to notice Abhishek’s absence in the pictures, further fueling the speculation.
