MARDAN (FAZALHAQ) – The Abdul Wali Khan University College for Women celebrated its 16th Foundation Day with vibrant festivities, honoring academic excellence and leadership. The event began with prayers and a ceremonial cake-cutting, symbolizing unity, joy, and the beginning of a new chapter.
The ceremony recognized students who excelled in academics, research, sports, and co-curricular activities. In addition, top-performing teachers received awards for their dedication and impact. Colorful tableaus and patriotic songs showcased the students’ creativity and love for their homeland. Certificates were also distributed to acknowledge outstanding student achievements.
Vice Chancellor of Abdul Wali Khan University, Professor Dr. Jamil Ahmed, addressed the gathering. He emphasized that education empowers women and builds the foundation of a progressive society.
