Abdul Wali Khan University Timergara Campus hosted a two-day Youth Business Expo under the Department of Management Sciences, in collaboration with the District Administration and the Youth Department of Lower Dir. The Business Expo featured various stalls that attracted thousands of students. During the closing ceremony, Additional Deputy Commissioner Lower Dir, Bashir Khan; Youth Officer Malik Tariq Shehzad; Head of Management Sciences Dr. Muhammad Khan and Dr. Minhajuddin addressed the participants. They emphasized the importance of focusing on education, avoiding the negative use of social media, and excelling in modern education, science, and technology. They urged students to engage in research and make the nation proud with their achievements .The speakers stressed that students should not view education solely as a means to secure jobs, as the government cannot provide employment to everyone. Instead, those who do not secure government jobs after completing their education should consider starting private businesses.
At the the ending of the event, Additional Deputy Commissioner Bashir Khan and District Youth Officer Malik Tariq Shehzad distributed shields and cash prizes among students and stallholders. They also expressed gratitude to the organizing committee for successfully arranging such an excellent program.
