Abbottabad Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Commerce College Teachers Association elections: Hazara-born Professor Dr. Shafiq-ur-Rehman Abbasi was elected provincial general secretary. The democratic panel achieved a resounding victory in the Commerce College Teachers Association elections. Waheed Khattak was elected President for the second time, while Dr. Muhammad Shafiqur-ur-Rehman Abbasi of Abbottabad was elected General Secretary with a huge majority. At the entire provincial level, professors from DI Khan, Bannu, Kohat, erstwhile FATA, Peshawar, Mardan, Charsadda, Swat, Malakand and Hazara divisions expressed confidence in the democratic panel. Other office bearers of the elected cabinet include Senior Vice President: Dr. Waris Khan, Vice President Professor Farhatullah, Senior Vice President (Women) Madam Urooj Nisar, Vice President (Women) Madam Fatima, Secretary Information Professor Najibullah Salarzai, Secretary Finance Professor Yousaf Atiq, President Librarians Khan Gul, President DPAs Javed Iqbal. The newly elected provincial president Waheed Khattak thanked Allah Almighty and said that this success is the trust of all the professors. He said that we are well aware of the problems of our community and will devote all our energies to this great cause so that the welfare, honor and rights of teachers can be fully protected.
