Aamir Khan confirms plans to marry Gauri Spratt in July

Veteran Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has confirmed that he will marry his partner, Gauri Spratt, next month, putting an end to speculation surrounding the couple’s relationship.

Speaking to Variety India, the 61-year-old actor confirmed reports of the wedding and said the ceremony is scheduled for July 5. The announcement marks a new chapter in the actor’s personal life after months of public interest in the relationship.

According to reports, the couple plans to hold a private ceremony attended by close friends and family members. Media outlet Hauterrfly reported that the wedding is expected to take place through a simple signing ceremony rather than a large-scale celebration.

Relationship became public last year

Aamir Khan introduced Gauri Spratt to the media during celebrations marking his 60th birthday in Mumbai last year. Reports have suggested that the couple have been living together for more than a year.

Sources cited by Indian media described the relationship as stable and private, with the couple choosing to keep much of their personal life away from public attention.

Third marriage for the Bollywood star

This will be Aamir Khan’s third marriage.

The actor first married Reena Dutta in 1986. The couple separated in 2002 and share two children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan.

Aamir later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005. The couple announced their separation in 2021 but continue to co-parent their son, Azad Rao Khan.

The actor’s confirmation follows growing media reports about the upcoming wedding, which is expected to take place on July 5.
