A young man drowned and died in the River Jhelum in the area of Qamar village. According to reports, 16-year-old Muhammad Ali Nawaz, son of Nawaz, was crossing the river with his herd when he was swept away by the strong current. Local residents recovered the drowned youth’s dead body, and Rescue 1122 shifted it to the THQ Hospital Pind Dadan Khan. The deceased was originally from Sahiwal.
