A two-year exemption has been granted to transporters across the province in the route permits of A, B and C classes and motorways in a meeting chaired by Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Babar Saleem Swati. In this regard, the efforts of Chairman Muttahida Transport Association Hazara Qazi Farooq, President Muhammad Ali Khan Jadoon, and General Secretary Zahid Khan Swati have borne fruit. Transport union leaders have been trying for this important aspect in several meetings to extend the route permits of these three categories in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In this regard, Chairman Muttahida Transport Association Hazara Qazi Farooq said that transporters across the province were facing difficulties due to the closure of permits of categories A, B and C classes, for which Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Babar Saleem Swati has taken practical steps to grant an exemption for two years to fulfill the long-standing demand and has assured to take steps for further improvement in the future. Chairman Qazi Farooq further said that a big decision has been taken in the meeting held in Peshawar. The struggle to protect the rights of transporters will continue. He said that the United Transport Association of Hazara has the honor of playing a key role in resolving this important issue. It should be remembered that transporters were facing problems due to the closure of A, B and C class route permits. A further relaxation of two years has been given, which has caused a wave of joy among the transporters.
