A shocking murder of a young man in village Phulwali under the limits of Havelian police station. The accused killed Sohrab son of Astam, resident of Phulwali, nephew of former Deputy Nazim of Union Council Bandi Attai Khan, by beating him in the playground.
The deceased died while being taken to Havelian Hospital in an injured condition. The complainant, Owais Khalid son of Khalid Mahmood, a resident of Tanoli, while filing a report, said that Sohrab Ahmed went to watch a cricket match and there he got into an argument with Gul Khattab son of Abdul Qayyum Hassan son of Zakir Amir Naeem Gul son of Mamrez. They attacked him with sticks. Later, the said people attacked him with weapons and started beating him, as a result of which Sohrab Ahmed son of Astam escaped after killing him. The police registered a case under Section 302/34 and started a raid to arrest the accused.
