A public open court (Khuli Kachehri) was held by District Police Officer (DPO) Jhelum, Tariq Aziz Sindhu, in Pind Dadan Khan and Lilla, which was attended by a large number of local residents. During the session, people shared all their problems, on which immediate orders for action were issued and instructions for on-the-spot resolution were given. The DPO stated that improving the standard of public service delivery is among the top priorities of Jhelum Police. If anyone has objections regarding the behavior or investigation process of the local police, they can directly contact him. In accordance with the directives of the Inspector General of Punjab, swift justice is being provided at the doorsteps of the public. In this regard, several initiatives have been taken, including the establishment of Police Service Centers, Police Protection Centers, Misaq Centers, Reconciliation Councils, and the upgrade of police stations as Special Initiative Police Stations.
