A meeting was held at Chotala Police Station under the chairmanship of DPO Jhelum, Tariq Aziz Sandhu, with investigation officers. The meeting was attended by SDPO Sadar Circle, SHO Chotala Police Station, and investigation officers of Chotala Police Station. During the meeting, long-pending under-investigation cases and incomplete challans of all circles were discussed.
The DPO directed that close coordination with the prosecution be maintained to ensure timely resolution of cases and their submission to the courts. The SDPO must ensure that challans of cases are submitted to the courts within the 14-day time limit. The DPO emphasized that for the prompt delivery of justice to the public, it is crucial to swiftly resolve pending investigations and ensure timely submission of reports under Section 173 CrPC to the courts. Special attention should be given to completing the case records.
