Actually the visit’s aim is to seek potential investors for Pakistan in Qatar that is why senior federal minster khuwa Asif and minster for finance Muhammad Aurangzeb along with their teams are also there to assist the prime minster. The economic experts measured that Pakistan has serious issues regarding the foreign investments because after the formation of special investment facilitation council Pakistan could not attract sufficient investors for government run companies like PIA to overhaul that but could not yet succeeded. On the other hand no such a company is ready to buy the dead Pakistan steel mills. It should be remember that On July 4, 2023, the Government of Pakistan announced to shut down the Steel Mills as there was no available buyer due to the heavy losses it had been incurring for years. So the prime minster and his team wants to seek investors for such government owned projects, so that value able capital could be brought to the country. Thus it is hoped that the prime minster is arrived to the country with better confidences.
