Two Sindh government officials have been suspended after it was revealed that they traveled in Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah’s plane without permission. The officers, both Grade 17 officials, flew from Islamabad to Karachi with their families on board the Chief Minister’s plane. The Sindh government issued a notification confirming the suspension. According to the notification, the suspended officials include Section Officer Syed Faraz Ali of the Prime Minister’s cadre and Wajid Shah, Recorder of Sindh House. The two officers were on board the flight, which was a test flight back to Karachi, without the required clearance. Chief Secretary Sindh Asif Haider Shah said the flight was conducted as a test flight and that the officers did not have permission to fly.
