Kohat: The leading leaders of Afghan refugees living in Kohat met with the provincial commissioner for Afghan refugees. The commissioner was informed about the problems of Afghan refugees living in Kohat district and the primary education. 5 Chairman Abdul Rahman Safi, Malik Haji Ghafoor Safi, Bahadur Zaman and Dawood along with the commissioner regarding better primary education for children in the camps of Afghan refugees residing in Kohat district. Had a detailed discussion. In the meeting, provincial commissioner of Afghan refugees Shakeel Mohammad Khan Safi assured that better and quality education will be provided to the children of Afghan refugees.
He said that education is the basic human right of every child and any kind of negligence and corruption in the education sector is unacceptable. The delegation of refugees met the provincial commissioner in a pleasant atmosphere and thanked the commissioner for taking steps to improve education.
